2015: Making Healthy Decisions

Happy New Year!

Last year I greeted the new year with the post "2014: The year to become healthier"

Did you work to become healthier? It is important to strive to be healthier. If you are not becoming more healthy, then you are most likely becoming less healthy. This year I will focus on making healthy decisions.

Everyday you make numerous decisions that can impact your health in small ways. Should I have a Diet Coke or a glass of water? Should I have a bag of potato chips or an apple? Should I skip my workout today? Should I get my flu shot this Winter? When should I schedule my next doctor visit? Most people don't have the time, energy, or inclination to ponder the health consequences of these daily choices. Yet, the sum total of these decisions can quickly add up.

What healthy decisions will you make in 2015? My first healthy decision of 2015 was getting wheat bread instead of white bread on my Subway sandwich for lunch.
